Chinese/Portuguese Egg Tart

The Chinese Egg Tart derived from the Portuguese Pastel De Nata. I kinda like the Chinese version better and eat it every time I am in Manila Chinatown. I bought this box of 6 at Lord Stow’S bakery in Binondo, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Update:

My wife told me that what we ate was actually the Portuguese version because the Chinese version uses short pastry instead of puff pastry. So in the end I like the Portuguese version better 😀
